How do I know? 
Because I am here
I am alive
And I will not be stopped
We are winning

As if that were not enough
And it is
A sufficient sentiment
A complete poem
I will continue
We are winning

I am not waiting
For a savior from on high
I am in It every day 
Being created by and cocreating 
The better, saner world 
Each and every moment
We are winning

My brilliance is immeasurable
Incomprehensible
I am designed for this
Every challenge
Every bit of chaos
And so are you
We are winning

I will not hate you
I will not fear you
I will not blame you
I will not reject you
I will not divide from you
I will not forget for long
Especially with my friends to remind me
Who and what you really are
We are winning 

We know we can't go on like this much longer
If we really refuse to answer
What life is calling us to
For our evolution
Our souls will say okay,
"Have this death"
And move on
We are winning

I am not afraid of the evil
The darkness, the chaos
Because I know its secret:
It is a double agent
Working for the light
When I face it
Like a judoka uses their partner's attack
To inspire a marvelous throw 
That wouldn't otherwise exist
We are winning

I know light waits in the dark
As if a ticking nova
Emerging from a pitch-black void
Ignited by our eyes
Illuminates itself and beyond
What can't even be imagined
We are winning

We are not winning because
A them is losing
There is no true them that truly loses
While we are winning
We are winning

Every day
I see more and clearer
The trickster's tricks
The devil in the details
Of the nightmare
How I blindly fed destruction
And how to reinvest
My atomic creativity
For a better dream
We are winning

Winning does not mean no pain
No ugliness
Sunshine and rainbows only
Winning means enough of our eyes
Are opening
To what's in front of us
What we must face
Without trying to deny 
Push away
What reveals itself to us
If we have the heart 
To look and see 
What demands our attention
We are winning

Winning means enough of us 
And our beautiful world
Will go on in new ways
Carrying the torch of ourselves
Our gestating species
Exploring, shaping 
And being explored and shaped by
Our inter-nested participatory destiny
We are winning

We have no idea what awaits us
In our most incredible evolution
Meeting our unfolding together
All there is
Is to discover that
We are winning

It is up to us
No one and no thing else
Not the mercy 
Of some imagined 
Seemingly real power 
Greater than
And outside of us
Keeping us down
We are winning

Let's review:
I am here
You are here
Everything we need
Is here
In our hands
Ready, waiting for 
And helping us to see
What we must
We are winning

Like going with our friends
Turning on the light
In a windowless
Never entered room
We will not know what's inside
Until we flip the switch
Surprise!
It’s not at all what we thought
It’s far better
Than our hallucinated nightmare
We are winning
